  6. GENERAL INFORMATION

  8. Andromeda is a Type 1 postscript typeface designed  
  9. for use with the Macintosh computer and any Postscript Compatible printer.  
  10. It is also Adobe Type Manager (ATM) compatible.  Andromeda is also hinted  
  11. to optomize output on 300 dpi or less printers. Andromeda is a complete  
  12. typeface, consisting of Upper and Lower case, special characters, numbers  
  13. and diacriticals.

  15. ABOUT ANDROMEDA  
  16.   
  17. I designed Andromeda as a futuristic typeface.  My concept was "how would  
  18. an OCR typeface look in about one hundred years".  While I think in about  
  19. a hundred years computers will be able to read about anything that is  
  20. written, I wrote it anyway.  
  21.   
  22. INSTALLING ANDROMEDA  
  23.   
  24. Installing Andromeda is quite easy, simply copy the file Andro into your  
  25. system folder.  After that install the fonts contained in the file Andromeda.

  27. Bmap into your system file or into a suitcase file using Font/DA Mover.  
  28. If you have any questions using Font/DA Mover  consult the Users manual  
  29. that came with your Macintosh.CAVEATSI have tried to make this font as  
  30. complete and bug free as possible.  Should you have any problems with  
  31. this font,  please contact me at the address listed at the bottom of the  
  32. document.

  46. SHAREWARE NOTICE

  48. Andromeda is provided as shareware.  You may use Andromeda for a period  
  49. of Ten (10) days after you receive the software package (i.e. Andromeda  
  50. and all related files).  If you find that this package is useful to you,  
  51. please send me $10.00 (U.S. Funds) to the address listed at the bottom of  
  52. this document.  By sending in the shareware fee you become a registered  
  53. user.  This means that should I have any upgrades to the font, or should  
  54. I release any new fonts or programs I will notify you.  
  55. Most upgrades to this font are free of charge, all I ask is that when an  
  56. upgrade is released, you send me a blank disk, and postage to cover sending  
  57. the disk back to you.  Also, by becoming a registered user, you may use  
  58. this font in any documents that you create.  This is a single use license,  
  59. if you are going to be using this font on more than one computer, please  
  60. send in the registration fee for each computer.  
  61. You may provide a copy of this font to others, provided that you include  
  62. the entire Andromeda package (Documentation, Bitmap font files, Laser Font  
  63. files and any other files included).  You must also make them aware of their  
  64. shareware obligations.  If they like the font then they must also pay the  
  65. shareware fee.  
  66. You cannot sell, rent, or modify this font without asking me permission  
  67. first.  If you are a company that provides PD and Shareware software to  
  68. the public (i.e. Educorp, Somak Software,  etc.), you must include the  
  69. entire font package.  Also, telling me that you have it would be great.  
  70. If you find that this package is not to your liking then delete it from  
  71. your system file and remove any copies (archives included) that you may
